The cheesecake was delish, however service not so much asked a few questions about flavors of pastries and was answered with " I don't know I can check." Then completely ignored me and asked the people behind me what I wanted. Then as I went to cash out the young lady working the register acted like we were bothering her by asking about the drinks we ordered. When she replied "well it's gonna be a while we are backed up!" So I patiently waited off to the side for them, during which time I watched her pick up the tip bucket and check it twice while talking to her coworker using profanities loud enough for myself and other customers to hear. As a tip from a tipping costumer maybe tips would increase if their work place professionalism did as well.

I tried the low sugar espresso cheese cake and love the texture. The flavors were just right with nothing being too overwhelming. Also tried the German chocolate cake and the chocolate icing seemed as if it was out of the box (I would individually give it a 2). It just didn't taste right. The coconut and guava cup cake was fantastic!

Walked in and tried the creme brulee cheesecake and found that the server/cashier was very friendly! I loved the interior of the place, it had plenty of seating. My cake was creamy, rich and had the perfect balanced flavor. I would love to come by here again. The locals here in the triad all know of this place so if you're from out of town this spot is really one to check out!

Awesome New York Style Cheesecake. We drove all the way from Raleigh NC, for some NY Style cheesecake and it was well worth the drive. 😋

This has been my go-to for dessert for about five years. Open late enough too if you are feeling an after dinner sweet rush or need a coffee fix.Have ordered whole cheesecakes to go or have eaten a single slice in. They have some seating inside. Kept clean and the interior is quaint and decorative. Service is excellent and no issues. Favorite slices are the turtle or NY. But each slice I have tried is a definite reorder. Plenty of options too. Exhaustive to say the least.Just damn good.

Best place for cheesecakes in Greensboro in my opinion. Every time I try a different cheesecake flavor I continue to be amazed at the taste and quality of their offerings. For me, if I want cheesecake, this place is a no brainier as my go to.

The best cheesecake on Earth! What more can I say? The variety, the staff and service are great. My favorite things are the Blondie's and the blueberry velvet cake besides the cheesecakes.

How can you describe perfection? I could give an analogy about how it feels like your taste buds are dancing with Angels, but what does that even mean....I could say it feels like when a cartoon is floating through the air following a smell that looks like love but no one knows what that means....so I'll simply say Alex Cheesecake is the best cheesecake I've ever had in my life and I loovvee cheesecake....THE. Wonderful bakery with many amazing options. However, do not give if your are in a rush. I waited 15 minutes to place an order because only one person was behind the counter working as hard and as fast as he could. Sadly, if it wasn't for speed I would have given this place a five because the flavors are incredible.

I’m sitting here in LA imagining eating a cheesecake and from one my favorite spots back home. Oh how I miss Alex creations! Years ago I rated you and how your ice cream is local. I highly recommend this shop for breakfast, coffee breaks, and dessert with friends or a date. The shop still has the same appeal comfy with patio seating.

Love this place! Would have five stars, but half the time I go there they are closed. Really can't get my head around a bakery that opens so late.

There are no better cheesecakes in the Greensboro area. Not even Cheesecake Factory. Fair prices as well but the best part is the quality and service. An amazing place!

I've always loved Cheesecakes by Alex for the cheesecake. But today,I stopped in and grabbed a cheese danish because it felt a bit too early for cheesecake. My first thought was that the crust was a little dry, but then I realized that there was so much tasty, creamy cheese filling that the stiffer crust could be used as a spoon. There was too much filling to eat it straight out, so the crunchy crust worked great for dipping. Overall, maybe the best tasting and best constructed cheese danish I have ever had.

My favorite place to buy pastries. It reminds you of a village store. I just wish it was easier to find parking other the paying at meters or parking illegally. I hate it that aspect.

The New York style cheesecake is delicious! This is pretty much a one-stop shop for those cravings that you may have. From coffee to brownies, to cookies, to cakes and more! Try them! You will not be disappointed. Tell them that I sent you!!

I have been coming here for several years and I can honestly say that the service has gotten worse. I always order the same latte and a couple of the girls who work here always make it perfectly, but today was not the case (and it hasn't been the case the last few times I have come in). I would highly recommend that the new employees get properly trained on how to work an espresso machine, and to set their friendliness back up to what it used to be.

Never a disappointment. The product is always the best it could possibly be. Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. Great variety of cheesecakes, layer cakes, and coffees. Other sweets to tempt you as well.

Cheesecake by Alex is a phenomenal spot that's guaranteed to fulfill all cheesecake cravings! I ordered a slice of strawberry cheesecake and it was heavenly! The restaurant is very clean, the staff were all friendly, and the service was on point. I'll definitely be a return customer. 😀🧡💯🙌

The best creamy cheesecakes!! I love sweets. You can easily share a slice of cheesecake and it's still a VERY generous portion! It's almost too much sweetness for one sitting if you try to have the whole slice by yourself. But boy are they amazing & worth it! A must try, a local favorite.

I have been a fan of Alex's cheesecake for years. However tonight I tried banana pudding cake and it's disrespectfully delicious. Also try the 12 slice assortment.

So delicious, I have yet to try anything but the cheesecakes but even flavors I don't generally like are delicious! Staff are nice, it's a good hole in the wall but it does seem to be growing. Go try it!

Our family makes this a destination dessert spot whenever we are in Greensboro. The cheesecake is always to die for and available in a plethora of flavors. The other baked goods and pastries are equally delicious.

I like the coffee and the choices for cheesecake, cake or cookies are great. I had the strawberries and cream and hubby had the lemon blueberry cake and both were delicious. The cheesecake was nice and moist. Yummy!

Very unique cheesecakes, cake slices and pastries. The burbon pecan, banana’s foster, pumpkin and sweet potato cheesecake slices are our favorites. Very nice staff and wonderful service.

The best cheesecakes! Tried with my daughter who is 9 but an expert cheesecake lover...she said the mint chocolate chip easily is better than anything on the menu at Cheesecake Factory. Also noted by friends...bananas foster flavor has actual banana pieces throughout, again defeating the cheesecake Factory version. Oh...and the pure chocolate with delicious chocolate ganache is a chocolate lover's dream come true.

Great location downtown. If we eat downtown or know we are headed there after dinner we always do dessert at Alex's. The variety of cheesecakes will have anyone in your group happy. My husband before having cheesecake here was convinced he didn't like cheesecake, last night he made the suggestion to go here and as always it was delightful.

This place is our new obsession. So good. The white chocolate raspberry, chocolate chip, and Oreo have so far been winners. We need to try more. Some of the best cheesecake I've ever had. A downside is the parking but I'm not going to fault them for that, it's the nature of being downtown.

Our wedding guests keep raving about the cheesecake at our wedding. It was absolutely perfect in every way. The service was impeccable and the final product was phenomenal. Guests really enjoyed the variety and richness cheesecake provided. We also had a lovely cake for cutting. Luckily cheesecake freezes quite well, so we will be feasting on the leftovers for the next few weeks.

I absolutely adore this place! The atmosphere here is wonderful and they have such a huge variety of cheesecakes that are all so delicious. They have coffee and cake you can buy too. (I definitely recommend their lemon-raspberry cake) The staff is very kind and the store is kept nice and tidy. If you are anywhere near the area you absolutely have to come visit this place, you won’t regret it!

Cute shop in the heart of one of the smallest downtown's I've been to. Lots of assorted desserts. If there's a line, there must be something special in store and worth the wait. We picked up a plain cheesecake, creme brulee cheesecake, and a cannoli. We sat in a cozy spot in the cute dessert shop where we enjoyed people watching and had a view of the kitchen where they had several loaves of bread being made for the next day. They also had outdoor seating and another level of seating in the back of the store.

Absolutely everything I have gotten is phenomenal. The Dirty Croissant is worth driving hours for. My other personal favorite is the cream-filled Bavarian chocolate cupcake. It brings a wonderful little death with it. I have to get one on every visit.

The service was awesome. They had many different varieties of cheesecake. Additionally, they sold ice cream, coffee, teas and cookies. They had a very good chocolate cookie cream pie. Many great options to choose from

While a bit cramped, the atmosphere is amazing. The food, at least what I've had so far, is great. The coffee smelled fantastic and the variety is nice. Parking may be an issue, but if you're not against a bit of walking I'd definitely recommend it. May have to wait a bit though, as there's almost always a line.

I love trying out new bakeries and what a GREAT find! If you like cheese cake you MUST stop by. They have the largest selection of cheese cakes I have ever seen. We got a piece of plain cheese cake a and we were not disappointed! THE CRUMB CAKE is also a must have. It reminds me of the crumb cake I had from a bakery back home when I was a kid. YUMMY!!!

The best cheesecake I’ve ever had, hands down. We tried the Kahlua espresso cheesecake and the creme brûlée cheesecake with a latte and a cappuccino. Everything was great!

Soooo many to chose from. They even have day old cheesecake for a discounted price. The Oreo was good and I loved the blue velvet cake with blueberries.
